A Voiceless Bellow

A light in darkness can’t be seen.
Toxic waste between you and me.

Help is crucial;
Help.
Growing poison, unsightly green.
I call the environments urgently.
”Slow Violence”
A visibility and invisibility.
A host of catastrophes.
Fallen mass, posttraumatic stress,
and delayed effects.
Life of falling bodies,
Burning heads and tsunamis.
Tales of centuries,
Ravaged casualties.
A slow star of emergencies.

Lives disposable and isolated.
Control the survival?
Negotiate the risks.
I called and yet I see silences.
The quiet, hushed, unobserved ground,
A weapon of great defeat.
Violence in motion, irretrievable condition.
The world we need is dead.
His words rapidly eroding.

An era of infinite disappointment.
Measures of prevention lurk
on a distant horizon.
Cycle of procrastination,
Dissembling fear.

The earth eloquently struggling
around us, years of violence,
and hidden degradation.
I sought to change.
Slow change is slow violence.
Speed and attention,
evident in life-sustaining.
Address the impact,
Force the acceleration,
We have the power,
The access to plasticity.
Fast is faster and
slow attempts loss.
A future can be born.

A fresh life, emotion, and space,
the world an invaluable remain.
